Much Ado about Books

Today our local library hosted Much Ado About Books at their downtown branch. It's a beautiful building that and a great event. There were crafts, characters, book readings, free books.

FCC Playgroup

Today we met several other families from the local FCC community at the local park. The kids had fun playing on the playground and then we went down by the river and tried to find a Letterbox. Unfortunately, we couldn't find it but we will try another time. It sounds like a fun way to explore.

Happy Valentines Day

Today we started by decorating a cake that we baked last night. Then exchanged valentines with each other.
Later we celebrated at our local neighborhood party. Carol and Kimberly joined us and there were several other friends there as well. There was a band playing, pizza, cupcakes, crafts. Angel also figured out that she liked ping pong and is good at it! We had a great time

Beach in Feb

The kids were off school today so I took the day off - it was a beautiful day so we headed to the beach for a while.

FCC Chinese New Year

Today we celebrated cny with our wonderful FCC group. It was a great event - decorated beautifully. Angel's group danced the Ribbon Dance - they did great. Mom and Melissa were able to come down to join us and Josh went as well. We visited with lot's of friends, watched the dancers, saw the martial arts entertainment and the great finale - the lion dance. The kids all had a great time!!

JCA Chinese New Year

Today Angel danced at the local Chinese Association Chinese New Year celebration. The girls had a good time and were really cute. Their dresses are just beautiful. and the girls looked like little bridesmaids.
