FCC Autumn Moon Festival

On Sunday we were privilaged to attend the FCC Autumn Moon Festival. Angel and I both had a wonderful time. The event was held at a local library that happens to be right next to a playground and carousel. We rode the carousel about 4 or 5 times and Angel had a blast with her friends on the playground. At the library, we had craft time and made a paper lantern. Also, one of the adoptive Moms read the Autumn Moom story to the kids. Afterwards, we all met at a China buffet restaurant and had a wonderful meal.

North Carolina again (August 2007)

Josh's school started later this year than in the past, so we took the opportunity to go back to NC for a few days. We attended my uncle's surprise 75th birthday party. He actually did not catch on, even though several of us traveled several hours to their house. We used an excuse that we were there to attend a special benefit being put on at my cousin's school (he is a principal.) Anyway, it was great to see some family that I have not seen in several years. Other than that, we did not do much since it was incredibly hot. Josh and I did take this opportunity to see a couple of movies while Angel enjoyed her time with Grandma and Aunt Issa.

New friends from China

Some dear friends of mine returned home August 21st with their twin toddlers from China. We had them and a couple other friends over to get acquainted. The twins (Scarlett and Sienna) seem to be doing very well. Everyone enjoyed getting to know them.
