Josh's modeling show

I know Josh doesn't like me to post about him but I just have to brag on his modeling show. He took a class over spring break and had the show today. He did so good and was so confident up there. He enjoys it and wants to take the next class. Hey, you never know, maybe he can support his old mom one day. This was after having confirmation practice this morning. He makes his Confirmation tomorrow. This day has been pretty emotional - first going into church this morning, seeing him up there practicing, knowing he is growing up so fast. Time passes way too fast!

Easter afternoon our friend Jennifer came over to have lunch and then we all went to our neighbors house for a party. Angel had her third egg hunt of the season - she was in heaven!

This Easter was a very special time for us as Angel was Baptized Saturday night at the Easter Vigil. I also joined the church. It was a beautiful ceremony albeit long, but Angel did great and was very beautiful.

Our week of Spring Break went by way too fast. The week started off rainy and cold but warmed up nicely. We even made it to the pool for the first time this year. The big pool was too cold but the baby pool was just right. We had a girl's day where we went to get pedicures and to lunch at this cute little cafe. In the middle of the week, Grandma and Melissa came down to spend time with us. They are also here to see Angel's Baptism and Josh's Confirmation. Josh spent the week going to a modeling class almost each day. He really enjoyed it and looks forward to the show next week. We spent some time putting together the required outfits he needed, so that kept us busy as well. Angel was missing her friends at school and especially her friend K, who is in China on vacation. But my neighbor's grandkids are in town so she has been busy with them. Saturday there was an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood, so we headed there and Angel met up with more friends there.

University of National Champions! UNC Tarheels

Tonight our favorite team won the NCAA Championship!!! We are very excited and proud of their good work and sportsmanship. Angel is sporting her very own Tarheels shirt. Being from NC, I have been a UNC Tarheels fan all my life!!

Today we attended an Easter party at our friends house. The girls had tons of fun. They had an Easter egg hunt, did some crafts, ate snacks, played, and lastly and one of their favorites things, silly string!!

Spring Break

The kids are on spring break this coming week so I took off work too. We are not going out of town, which is nice. We will just have some time to hang out, play, just do whatever we want. Angel loves to have time to play games. Here she is putting the Monopoly game together. Today we went to the beach. The weather was perfect and it was relaxing.
