Angel's school program

Today I was able to attend a program at Angel's school. Her extended day class has been learning sign language. Today they signed to the song Seasons of Love from the play RENT (I love this song!). They did so good. Angel was also recognized as being student of the week.

Soccer Bday party

Well what started out as a potential washout turned into an awesome birthday party! The plan was to play soccer but initially the weather was not cooperating, so the kids snacked and played some games under the patio. Then it started clearing up and they headed out to the soccer field. They play for a solid two hours! Of course, since it had been raining all day, it was pretty muddy but they didn't care, they had a great time. Happy birthday H.

The day started with Chinese lessons, then on to the library and another errand, and then to A's soccer game. The weather was great!
Later we dined with our FCC friends at the monthly dinner. As usual the kids had a good time playing. Later C and I took the girls to the book store and they had fun with the train table and browsing.

Saturday Fun

Today we went to Zoey's house for a bouncy house and fingernail painting party. It was so much fun. We couldn't stay very long because Angel had her first soccer game at 4:00 but we enjoyed the time we were there!

My girl cracks me up...

Sometimes I just crack up at the things Angel says. This morning on the way to school, she asks what we are doing that night. I tell her we have to go have Josh fitted for a tux. So of course, she asks what a tux is. I say a fancy suit for a man. To which she replies, Josh isn’t a man. So I say, ok a fancy suit for a male. She then exclaims: Josh is gonna be a mail man?

I then laugh and say, I need to write this down. So a few minutes later she says something else funny and I laugh. Then she says “you need to write that down.
Angel's class had a living museum and she was the White House. She made a poster board with facts about the White House and had a picture of the White House handing around her neck. All the kids did a wonderful job.
