Piano recital

Today Angel had her piano recital playing Take Me Out to the Ballgame (no surprise there as much as she loves sports). She did really good. Afterwards there was a little reception, then we had a nice lunch. So proud of her.

Mother's Day

Wonderful Mothers Day. We went to brunch at the Clubhouse. Really good food and no driving and waiting to be seated. Afterwards we did some shopping(Angel and I really needed new clothes for several upcoming events), then later Josh, Angel and I took Copper to the beach for the first time. He had a great time. It was a beautiful day!

Angel 9th Bday party

We had a party/sleepover - some kids just partied and went home, and some slept over. They decorated a shirt, played ball outside, played silly string, just had a good ole time!

Beach Day

Today we met Raina and kids at the beach. Angel can't swim for a couple of weeks but she is happy digging in the sand. Beautiful day.

Easter weekend in NC

This was a fantastic, busy weekend. We left Friday for North Carolina. As soon as we hit Etown, we stopped at Melvins to get burgers. Then on to Mom's house. Later I went to spend some time with my BFF since 3rd grade, Michele. She was staying at a lake house owned by her husband's aunt. It is such a cute and relaxing place. We sat and chatted, at sunflower seeds, drank wine and just caught up without any kids around (well Hannah and a friend were there but they were outside with the other teenagers). I spent the night there and the next morning we took a walk around the lake area. Later we went back to Mom's and headed to Melvins again. Later that afternoon, I took Angel, Josh and mom back over to the lake to see the place and visit with Michele. It was such a great day. Then Sunday morning the kids checked out their Easter baskets and then we headed to Aunt Emily's house. Her kids were there so it was nice to see some of the cousins I haven't seen in ages. We had a small Easter Egg hunt and Angel found the lucky Egg but shared her winnings with Jacob. Later we stopped by the Murray's house to visit and have dessert. Angel and Abigail were able to get some softball throwing in so they were happy. We headed back to Jacksonville on Monday. Fun and jam packed weekend.

Fun Easter party 2012

Today we attended a fun Easter party and egg hunt at Gigi, Sullivan and Sutton's house. As usual, the house was decorated so pretty and the party was so much fun. It had been raining but cleared up long enough for us to hide and hunt the eggs. We also had some snacks and the girls had a blast just running around and playing. The ladies had time to chat and catch up. What a special group of ladies - we will miss Melissa when she moves.

Softball

What a busy weekend. Saturday was the opening day for softball. We had a little ceremony, then team pictures and the Bandits played 2 games. Afterwards around 3 we headed to a birthday party and then to Gigi's house for supper club. Whewwww.
