Ni Hao, Mickey!
Today we ventured to the Magic Kingdom. It was way hotter then we expected but we still has a blast. We rode the Jungle Boat, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain (Angel's favorite), saw some princesses and princes dancing.

After a few hours, we went back to the hotel, had lunch, swam and crashed for a while.
Then we headed back to the park to see the light parade, rode tea cups, Buzz Lightyear, Stitch's Adventure, It's a Small World, saw Mickey and Minnie's houses, had dinner.
K and A wanted hats - K got a princess and A got a Mickey hat - no surprise there!

Angel is "showing" Mickey her Mickey hat during the light parade. I told her I am sure he saw it!
We left the park around 11:00 - needless to say, we were all tired and ready to hit the bed. We had a great time with Carol and Kimberly.
Original plan was to go to Animal Kingdom on Sunday but with the heat at 101, we decided to go another time.

Xiao's party
Tonight we attended a party for a Xiao who is visiting from China. Our friend Susan and Peter hosted the party - Xiao knew Susan and Peter's girls in China and knew their foster family. Xiao works with an organization that helps place kids into foster homes from Chinese orphanages. One of the adoptive moms in our FCC group volunteers with this group so Xiao is staying with them for a few days. The kids had a blast and Xiao got to see how happy these kids are when they meet their forever family.

Our Sunday
Today we started with church, then the three of us (me, Angel and Josh) went to lunch at our club house in our neighborhood. I always forget how good the food is there.
Having lunch
Afterwards, we headed to the mall for a bit, picking up one of Josh's friends along the way. Later I took a few pictures of Angel at the front of our subdivision with the leaves.
I love this time of year with the leaves falling.

tonight
Driving home, the song "Someone Saved my Life Tonight" by Elton John was playing (one of my favorite songs) and Angel informed me that she didn't like that song because it made her cry! She said "I want to hear a fast song" and started snapping her fingers and dancing around! It was very funny.

We started today with Chinese lessons in the morning. Angel had a grea time and I really liked the teacher. I think the kids will learn alot. Later we had Angel's first soccer game. She did great!! She got out there and played her heart out. We all had a blast. Josh went to see it and we were also joined by our friends Jennifer, Carol and Kimberly. Afterwards, we went out for a yummy dinner. On the way home, Angel said "I just want to go home, take a bath and go to bed." I think I have heard that about 3 times since she has been home!
