Clifford

Angel's school had a book fair and Clifford the Big Red Dog was there!!! Of course, we had to purchase a Clifford book.

Beach day

Today we met E and J at the beach. A and E had a great time digging in the sand. The water was a bit cold so we did not spend much time in there. It was quite crowded since it is spring break.

Dinner at the park

Tonight we met C and K at the park for dinner and play time. We had Chinese food and let the girls run wild. The park is on the river so we went out on the dock - the girls were mesmerized by the items in a tackle box. Funny what can entertain children. I see a tackle box and fishing pole in Angel's future.

Daytona Beach

We had spring break this week (I know, it was late this year). We decided to go down to Daytona Beach for a couple of nights. We stayed at a hotel right on the beach, just down from the boardwalk. The hotel itself left a lot to be desired, but the location was great. J went on this ride called the Sling Shot. It literally shoots you up in the air on a bungy cord thingy. He loved it and wanted me to ride it with him. No way in ..... Of course, Angel wanted to ride it too. I think I have a daredevil on my hands. We rented bikes to ride on the beach and Angel spent alot of time digging in the sand. It was kind of cool, so we spent time in the hot tub too.

Visiting friends in Orlando

We went to Orlando to visit a friend of mine whom I had not seen in several years. They were staying in a resort near Disney. We went down Friday night and just hung out with them Friday and Saturday. We just stayed at the resort and played at the playground and the pool areas. Very nice resort.

Backyard fun

Our neighbor gave us a Little Tykes picnic table that she had in her backyard. Angel

enjoys having her little picnic out there on a nice sunny day. Thank you Barbara!!

The Zoo - finally

We finally got a chance to go to the zoo. It was a beautiful day, a little warm and really sunny. Angel's friend K went with us as well as another family that we are friends with. It was Angel's first zoo trip since coming home. She really seemed to like it and kept asking to see the monkeys.
