Our local adoption group formed a book club a year ago. We had our first anniversary meeting this past weekend. While I have not attended many meetings in the past due to my China travel and just getting adjusted to an addition to the family, I definitely plan to attend more in the future. I really enjoy getting together with all of these wonderful women to discuss various books on adoption, international adoption, motherhood, etc. Some of the books are of a serious nature and others are more humerous. We eat, chat, catch up on each other and we actually do discuss the books!!!
