Christmas!

Angel slept in a lot later than I thought she would. She finally woke up around 8:30 and was greeted by many toys left by Santa. Santa ate his cookie and drank his milk too. She loved everything she got. Later we had a wonderful Christmas dinner.

Christmas Eve

Angel's first Christmas Eve - We opened one present each so this was Angel's first ever Christmas present. We made a big deal out of her opening it, lot's of pix and recording. Her first present was from me - an Asian baby doll. We then went to a nice mass service at a local church. After that, we dropped Josh off with his dad to spend Christmas Eve. Angel was very excited - she kept saying "Santa Claus is coming home in one night"...so cute.

Christmas Cookie Party

We enjoyed a nice Christmas Cookie Exchange party at our friend Gigi, Sullivan and Sutton's house. We had a wonderful time and the house was lovely. The girls had a pretend tea party. We truly treasure the time we spend with our friends.

More Christmas pix!!

Angel sang in the church Christmas pageant on Sunday. I really have to hand it to the teachers that put that program together - it was like herding cats. They all did a wonderful job. Angel was all decked out in her new Christmas dress.

We have a Disney monorail around our tree. Our cat, Miranda, loves to try to catch it as it goes around. It is so funny.

It has actually been cold enough for a fire. I love this weather!!

Visiting Santa

We visited Santa tonight. Angel has seen him from a distance at the mall but we finally had time to let her actually tell him what she wants. She did so well. We went to St. Johns Town Center where they had a cute little Santa house set up. It was so cute inside, it even had a fireplace - not really wood burning, of course. Amazingly, the line was not too long and of course, I dropped almost $25.oo on pix!!!

Decorating the Tree

Angel helped decorate the Christmas tree. She seems to love all of the lights on the houses. I can't wait to spend our first Christmas together. She is such a blessing to our family.

Angel's first visit to Disney!!

Angel had her first Disney visit this weekend. We attended Mickey's Merry Christmas Party on Friday night and then went to Epcot on Saturday. Angel really enjoyed it all but seemed to really like taking pictures with the characters and princesses. As usual, she did really well. We were at the park on Friday night until after midnight, so we were all pretty tired. But she hung in there. I am sure we will be visiting Disney many more times over the years.
