Family time

Today we went to Wilmingtont to meet some family for lunch at the Pilot House restaurant - one of our favorites. It's right on the river and yummy food.

Later we headed to see the Murray side. Angel had a blast with her cousin Abigail = battling in DS.

Snow Day

They kept saying it would happen and we were hoping it would! We woke up to some beautiful snow today (although we checked several times during the night to make sure it was coming). What a wonderful addition to a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Day

Angel woke up on Christmas morning at 4:00 - yes I said 4:00 - and peeked into the living room. She came running into my room shouting "Mom he comed, he comed" It was so cute. So we got up and went to see what Santa had brought. Mom and Melissa got up too and we let Angel open her DSi and a couple of games, only if she agreed to go back to sleep while the DS charged up. So we woke up again around 8:30 (much better). We finished opening Santa gifts (Josh had some too) and then we opened stockings and the rest of the family gifts. What a blessed Christmas we had this year!

Winter Wonderland

After meeting for dinner and opening presents (my house is a petrie dish lately so we decided to meet) we headed down to St. Augustine to Winter Wonderland. We visited the elf village, saw Santa, walked in the Peppermint Forest, the girls rode the Ice Slide 4 times, we made S'mores, watched the ice skating, and then took a horse drawn sled ride!

Luminaria bike ride

Tonight we headed over to the Riverside area where our friends live to ride our bikes in the luminaria parade. Angel started out riding her bike but ended up in the carrier thing that Brian was pulling. She was a little overwhelmed with the cars around. It was really beautiful with all the luminaries and lights on the houses. Lot's of folks decorated flatbed trailers and rode around singing Christmas Carols. There were even horse drawn carriages. Afterwards, we went back to Kim and Brian's and had dinner. Later we walked around the neighborhood and ended up at a park by the river. The girls had a blast on the big swing there. We had a blast!
